Description:
With college entrance exams looming, students are studying late. Zi-Fan, the student union president and model student, studies while listening to a mysterious cassette. Meanwhile, Zi-Fan’s crush, Jie, secretly watches him. Following Jie after class, Zi-Fan bumps into a candidate for student president. The cassette allows Zi-Fan to hear the pain of a second-grader experiencing domestic violence, a sound that triggers memories of his own past bullying and how he escaped it by listening to others through the tape. Overwhelmed, Zi-Fan seeks refuge in the washroom where he often felt safe and encounters Jie. Sensing Zi-Fan's fear, Jie takes his hands and invites him to listen to her story.
