Waiting for Pasolini (2007)

Thami, a local who frequently works as an extra in foreign films shot in a village near Ouarzazate, befriended director Pier Paolo Pasolini during the filming of "Oedipus Rex" in Morocco in 1966. Forty years later, the arrival of a new Italian film crew sparks excitement throughout the community, and Thami believes Pasolini has returned, reigniting a passion for cinema.
