Description:
"The reason why they kill people is because they do not have any education," a Sudanese boy explains about the conflict in his country. The film opens with images of a bombed school. It follows the youngest Sudanese generation as they navigate a war that's destroying their homeland. Will these orphaned children seek revenge for their parents, or will they choose forgiveness and a new beginning? Regardless, their hopes for the future are peaceful. One dreams of learning English to free his country, another wants an education to achieve something, a third aspires to be president and bring peace, and one simply wishes to emulate her grandmother. Despite the violence they've endured, the children primarily desire rebuilding and an end to destruction.
