Jeeva Sakha (1992)

In the village of Dhangao, brothers Jeeva and Sakha live with their widowed mother. When Sakha becomes a police inspector and is transferred, the brothers are separated. Jeeva is in love with Paro. A spoiled girl named Nagya tries to trick villagers into selling their land to DK for an industrial zone, but Jeeva rallies the villagers to resist, angering Nagya. After Paro marries Jeeva, Nagya threatens to kill her and manipulates her father into signing property papers, using intimidation against many villagers. When Jeeva tries to intervene, DK's men kill someone and frame Jeeva. Jeeva flees into the jungle, known only to his friend Baadshah. Nagya then murders Jeeva’s mother when she refuses to sign the papers. Sakha returns to Dhangao for his mother's funeral, unaware of the events that have transpired, and believes Jeeva should be punished for taking justice into his own hands.
