My Paris Movie (2011)

I had been considering a project with my extensive Paris footage for a while, so curator Danièle Hibon's proposal to create a new work celebrating 20 years of cinema at the Jeu de Paume museum was timely. I spent three months editing the footage down to its current length of two hours and thirty-nine minutes – a very difficult process, given the many friends and memories captured on video. This film is my love letter to Paris: its streets, the Seine, its cafes and bars, the food, and especially to all my friends there.
