Description:
Vasu, a hardened street hustler who lives in a movie theater, encounters Mohana, a music student and the daughter of the Police Commissioner, while moving film reels. Tulsidas, a former gang leader recently released from prison, manipulates Vasu into kidnapping Mohana to damage the Commissioner's family reputation. During her captivity, Mohana develops feelings for Vasu after hearing him sing. He rejects her, but Tulsidas then offers Vasu money to pretend to be in love with her. By the time Tulsidas discovers his information about the Commissioner is incorrect and orders Vasu to stay away from Mohana, Vasu's affection for her has become genuine.
