Description:
Marisol (Alejandra Herrera) struggles between her controlling cousin, Mauro (Eduardo Mendizábal), and her intense but distant lover, Mundo (Noé Hernández). Violence is a regular part of life in their rural Mexican town, with gangs and rebels frequently seen. When Mundo is forced to leave, their relationship shifts to digital communication – texts, voicemails, and video calls – which is unreliable but offers solace. Despite the distance, their longing for each other remains strong. Upon his return, Marisol faces even greater danger, and the question becomes not if conflict will arise, but when. Could their desire and desperation offer her a way out?
