Description:
Bondo, struggling with poverty, loses his father during a border crossing attempt in Tijuana while trying to send money home. Alone, Bondo faces numerous obstacles, including the police chief responsible for his father's death, who now seeks his demise. After a perilous border crossing, Bondo ingeniously builds a flying machine from a wheelbarrow and flies to the Santa Monica pier, where he intends to fulfill his father's dream. By Mark Christensen.
