Mio figlio (2005)

In Trieste, police inspector Federico Vivaldi maintains a close relationship with his ex-wife and shares his life with his 25-year-old son, Stefano, who works alongside him at the police while pursuing a law degree. When a young woman is murdered at a coastal party, Stefano hides his presence there from his father. He's afraid of his father's reaction, particularly because the prime suspect is Damjan, an Austrian model with whom Stefano is having an affair. After learning Stefano attended the party, Federico discovers his son is gay. Initially struggling to understand, Federico gradually accepts Stefano's sexuality as he investigates the case and uncovers the truth about the murder.
