Description:
Following a violent robbery, habitual offender Tony is sent to the Pieter Baan Center. Over seven weeks, a team of behavioral researchers evaluates him. They must collectively decide whether he is accountable for his actions – or not. When questioned by a psychiatrist about his ideal outcome, Tony states, "Tbs with compulsory care." The Pieter Baan Center is a specialized detention facility that independently investigates individuals suspected of serious crimes, commissioned by the Ministry of Justice. The seven-week process examines the suspect's personality, potential disorders or mental illness, and any connection to the crime. The assessment also considers the risk of future offenses.
