During the global financial crisis, Norway implements a national plan to safeguard its wealth and ensure economic stability. Fueled by nearly one billion Norwegian kroner daily from North Sea oil revenues, the country invests heavily in the Oil Fund – one of the world's largest investment funds. The fund holds stakes in over 8,000 international companies. However, the Norwegian government aims to influence these multinational corporations to improve their practices, a challenging endeavor.
