Description:
Perfect Square captures a 2003 concert by rock band R.E.M. at the Bowling Green in Wiesbaden, Germany. Released on DVD in 2004, the show is particularly remembered for a performance of "Country Feedback," with Michael Stipe introducing it as his favorite song. The version includes extra lyrics from Reveal's "Chorus and the Ring" and a guitar solo by Peter Buck not found in the original. Other notable moments feature the debut of "Bad Day" (originally called "PSA") and "Animal," alongside the reappearance of the previously unreleased song "Permanent Vacation," which originated in 1980, and "Bad Day," from 1985.
