Fashionholic (2002)

Wai aspires to own a wardrobe full of designer dresses. Working at a boutique, she quickly develops a relationship with the designer, Billy. When the boutique owner, Sandy, falls ill, she asks Wai to help manage the business. Sandy's husband, Chan, has a habit of sexually harassing the staff. After an encounter with Wai, Chan is persuaded to divorce Sandy and invest a large sum of money in the boutique. This leads to Chan's financial ruin and the forced sale of the boutique to an unknown buyer. Wai and Chan break up, leaving the question of the mystery buyer's identity unanswered.
