Raised in the rural Malaysian town of Kuala Selangor by her parents, Maryam and Ahmad, Khalisha has always been indulged. She is deeply fascinated by Viva Yusuf, a successful fashion blogger and businesswoman, and spends each day trying to emulate Viva's glamorous look with makeup. Living amidst paddy fields and village roads, Khalisha also uses the Instagram account "Kylie" to document her life. She frequently follows her cousin Sarah, who lives in Kuala Lumpur, and keeps up with Sarah's activities online. As children, Khalisha and Sarah spent holidays together, with Sarah visiting the village while Khalisha would go to KL.
