disinfoTV on DVD (2006)

What happens when a television show pushes the boundaries of what's acceptable? DisinfoTV, hosted by Disinformation co-founder Richard Metzger, is a fast-paced newsmagazine packed with extreme counterculture content. Wired magazine called it "making Jackass look tame." The show’s controversial segments caused problems with Channel 4 censors, leading to some parts being blacked out during its original broadcast. However, the remaining episodes became an instant cult classic and a ratings success. Acquired by the Sci-Fi Channel for U.S. distribution, it was deemed too controversial to air in America. This DVD presents the complete series, including the segments that were previously banned.
