Description:

Van Meter shot three camera rolls of Ektachrome film throughout the three-day Trips Festival, using each roll daily. The resulting film consists of three 100-foot rolls, each triple exposed in-camera to represent a day of the festival. With minimal structural edits, Van Meter spliced the three rolls together. The accompanying soundtrack was created using a similar triple layering technique with sounds recorded during the festival. He describes the film as "a documentary of the Trips Festival from the point of view of a goldfish in the punch bowl."
