Nights and Days (2007)

"Nights and Days" is a personal account of war, created from footage and notes filmed during the summer of 2006. The film begins with a series of day and night scenes, accompanied by a soundtrack that conveys the passage of time, anticipation, questioning, and fear experienced during this unsettling period. The second part follows a journey to south Lebanon, which was heavily damaged during the war. It contrasts peaceful landscapes with scenes of ruins and destruction, using only music to express the depth of devastation. "Nights and Days" explores the connection between visuals and sound, examining ideas of beauty and horror through images of urban and natural environments, where subtle details reveal the presence of war and its violence.
