Description:
This film adapts H.P. Lovecraft's *The Shadow Out of Time*. A professor experiences a seizure that causes complete memory loss. His family abandons him as he recovers, finding him irrevocably changed. Over five years, he independently studies subjects unrelated to his field. A second seizure returns him to his former self, but he has no recollection of the intervening years. Haunted by strange dreams, he attempts to uncover what happened during this lost time. His discoveries, coupled with the unsettling nature of his dreams, lead him to believe something far more sinister than a simple change in personality occurred.
