Description:
This 8.5-minute film was shot on film at Tidemills beach near Newhaven, Sussex, in the summer of 2003. The footage was later transferred to digital video. The sound is mono and was recorded directly on location, but is not synchronized with the visuals. A brief audio drop occurs due to wear on the original tape. The SuperSeaCat ferry service between Newhaven and Dieppe has since been discontinued, and development now threatens some of the land behind the beach.
