Description:
In 1943, a German commando hides a significant amount of gold in an underwater cave off the coast of Corsica. Years later, Schlumpf, the only survivor of the commando unit, returns to the island to retrieve the treasure. British and Soviet spies are tracking him, while Dromard, a French intelligence officer with a monocle, is watching his every move. Dromard is confident he can outsmart everyone, but he faces unexpected challenges: Schlumpf is cunning, Corsica is overrun with treasure hunters from all over, and everyone is willing to form unlikely alliances and use deceit and force to get ahead. Who will ultimately claim the gold?
