Description:
A young girl witnesses her mother's death, a direct result of negligence by the nurse who was supposed to be caring for her. The manipulative nurse then marries the girl's father, taking her place and becoming the girl’s stepmother. After revealing to her stepmother that she knows the truth about her mother’s death, Aurore is abused, and her stepmother tries to silence her through torture. The father, who spends his days farming, ignores or refuses to acknowledge the abuse inflicted upon his daughter.
