Description:
Spring 1945. As Allied forces close in on Hamburg, Lena Brücker encounters Hermann Bremer, a marine tasked with defending the city. They share a night, and Lena offers to shelter Hermann in her apartment during the war's final days. This begins a dangerous romance they must conceal from everyone. As weeks pass, Lena thrives while Hermann struggles with confinement and fear of discovery. Lena deliberately withholds news of the war's end, determined to prolong their time together.
