Sayedat Al-Kasr chronicles the history of the Joumblatt family of Mount Lebanon from the 17th century to today, centering on Nazira Joumblatt, a prominent leader and politician of the early 20th century. Born in 1889, Nazira became the head of the Moukhtara palace in 1923 after her husband's assassination and her brother's resignation. For twenty-five years as Lady of the Palace, she raised her son Kamal to succeed her, continuing a legacy of leadership. Known for her wisdom and strength, Nazira fearlessly entered Lebanese politics, a field then dominated by men. She consistently worked to maintain peace and stability in Lebanon, gaining respect from people of all faiths.
