Haruhiko Kasukabe, known as Haru-san, has lived with his daughter Furi since losing his wife Ruriko in a plane crash 22 years ago. It’s Furi’s wedding day, but she only told Haruhiko about it a month prior. The groom had work issues abroad and only returned to Japan on the wedding day, meaning Haruhiko hasn't met him. Wondering about the man Furi chose and why she kept the wedding a secret, Haruhiko isolates himself and decides to skip the ceremony. Then, Ruriko appears before him – a reappearance that has happened multiple times in the past. What does she want?
