Antep Fıstığı (2018)

Born and raised in Germany, Simge is cut off by her grandfather for her mother's choice of husband. Having lost her parents, she lives alone in Germany until her grandfather, now ill, stipulates that he will leave his entire estate to her – if she marries someone from Gaziantep. Arriving in the unfamiliar city with trepidation, Simge is welcomed by Hayri, the son of her grandfather's servant Ümmühan, and his family. As Simge embraces the city, Hayri, instantly captivated, repeatedly helps her through difficult situations. She develops feelings for him, but Hayri’s mother, Ümmühan, objects to a bride who doesn't understand Gaziantep customs, forcing Simge to quickly adapt.
