Description:
Min-ji is an ordinary housewife hiding a dark secret. Her husband, In-gyu, who runs resorts, desires a child, but after unsuccessful attempts including fertility treatments, they decide on a surrogate mother. Pressured by In-gyu and his family, Min-ji reluctantly agrees. The arrival of her hometown friend Jeong-ah stirs unease in Min-ji, as she knows Jeong-ah's past, including a previous relationship and an abortion. Meanwhile, In-gyu becomes captivated by the confident Jeong-ah, who gradually begins to take over Min-ji’s life. Desperate, Min-ji seeks out Jeong-ah's husband, Joo-sik, to intervene, but she becomes entangled in his scheme and is ultimately used to replace his runaway wife.
