Description:
In 1995, a mental hospital opens near the Japanese Ministry of Finance, built next to the grave of Taira no Masakado. Jin’ya Yanase, a young male nurse, is deeply fascinated by the legend of Masakado and especially by the spirit of his evil aide, Yasunori Kato. He gradually becomes possessed by Kato's spirit, which seeks to use him as a new body to return to the modern world. Keiko Tatsumiya, the story's heroine, is an elderly homeless woman in Tokyo. Sensing Kato’s presence, she must find the strength to confront the demon-god and destroy his spirit once and for all.
