Description:
Tucumán, Argentina, 1965. Three years before George A. Romero's *Night of the Living Dead*, director Ofelio Linares Montt made *Zombies in the Sugar Cane Field*, a horror film that also served as a political statement. It found success in the United States but was banned in Argentina due to the dictatorship of Juan Carlos Onganía and later disappeared. Now, writer and researcher Luciano Saracino begins a quest to uncover the story behind this lost and controversial film.
