Dr. Hikojiro 2 (2016)

Hikojiro visits Sayo Kujo, an elderly woman hospitalized with a year to live, as told by assistant professor Natsuhiko Moriwaki. Sayo insists on returning to her childhood home, where Hikojiro will now care for her. At the university hospital, Hikojiro encounters Hazuki, the daughter of Tetsuji Tonoyama, his takoyaki-making mentor. He's surprised to see a poster suggesting Hazuki is having an affair with Moriwaki. The hospital is in the midst of a power struggle for chief surgeon, with Moriwaki and Shinsuke Noguchi, heads of the first and second surgical departments, each side spreading damaging rumors about the other.
