Description:
Romain Goupil's film explores a generation's disillusionment with its lost ideals, inspired by attending funerals of friends in 1996 where the influential figures of the '68 generation gathered. The film is an homage to this now middle-aged group who once believed they could reshape the world, unlike their parents. While not experiencing the same level of physical loss as other countries, they found the system inadequate for personal fulfillment and love, often blaming external forces like capitalism or imperialism for societal problems. Some members of this generation remain committed to their youthful principles, continuing to fight for ideals of the past.
