Boxes (2017)

Liam, nineteen and recently graduated from high school, indulges in a lifestyle of parties and drug use while living with his grandmother. He maintains a distant relationship with her, and is unaware when she suffers a sudden stroke, only learning of it from a text message from the hospital. He drives to the hospital late at night, under the influence. Finding the door closed, he's told he must wait. Spending the night and morning in the hospital, Liam reflects on his choices and connects with a young boy awaiting news about his mother. *Boxes* is a social-realist drama exploring regret, relationships, and the quiet tragedies that often occur unnoticed.
