Berberian is known for finding humor in everyday issues, and this time he focuses on anxiety. "Yete" is his fifth monologue, following "Yevayln," "Nayev," "Dagaveen," and "Sagayn." After 20 sold-out performances in Los Angeles, the "Sagayn" tour took him to Yerevan, Beirut, Istanbul, Paris, Sydney, Cyprus, Geneva, and many other cities. Four years have passed since "Sagayn," and Berberian is excited about his new work. "I love writing, painting, and directing, but being alone on stage is a completely different feeling. I feel empowered because there’s nothing harder than getting up on stage and trying to make people laugh for an hour and a half. If you fail, you can't blame anyone but yourself, and it's crushing. But if you succeed, you feel exhilarated," says Berberian.
