Description:

Fritz Brown, a former LAPD officer and recovering alcoholic, balances car repossessions and running his own detective agency. His life changes when Freddy "Fat Dog" Baker hires him to follow his sister, Jane. She's staying with Sol Kupferman, a wealthy 70-year-old connected to the mob. Fat Dog suspects Kupferman is planning something harmful to Jane. Fritz's investigation forces him to confront his past, specifically Haywood Cathcart, the head of LAPD internal affairs who was responsible for Fritz's dismissal from the force.
