Description:
The film follows Anton Soglaev, a compact sports champion, and his family, exploring his relationships with them, as well as his friends and loved ones. Following an accident caused by Anton, his young son Alyoshka suffers a severe injury. His wife leaves him, he loses his apartment and his place on the Russian national team. In this difficult situation, Anton moves to his mother's village to live with her. He begins to re-evaluate his entire life. Meanwhile, a criminal group begins pursuing Anton because of his help in apprehending a drug courier. Eventually, his former coach and friend, Sergey, decides to bring Anton back into the team for a chance to compete in the European Championship. They travel to the village, where they encounter the gangsters.
