Water (2003)

"Water" tells the story of Mary, a seven-year-old girl in rural New Zealand. When she finds a burst pipe under the kitchen sink, her family chooses to ignore the problem, prioritizing their everyday routines and excitement for an upcoming rugby match against France. The leak worsens, and the house gradually floods. This surreal black comedy explores themes of procrastination, denial, and climate change, illustrating how a seemingly minor issue can escalate into devastating consequences when left unaddressed.
