Description:
"Never Ending Peace and Love" (or "N.E.P.A.L.") is one of six short films in the South Korean omnibus movie "If You Were Me" (2003). Commissioned by the National Human Rights Commission of Korea, the film explores discrimination within the country, with each of the six segments directed by a different prominent Korean filmmaker. Park Chan-wook's contribution focuses on human rights violations against foreign laborers in Korea. It tells the story of Chandra, a Nepalese woman who spent six years in a mental hospital after being wrongly accused of mental instability.
