Description:
Director Thomas Gilou’s delightful farce, with a sharp screenplay by producer Monique Annaud, follows a group of African squatters in Paris who face eviction. Overwhelmed by a confusing bureaucracy, they seek help from a sorcerer from their homeland. The sorcerer travels to Paris to cast spells on the official responsible, and during the flight, he chats with a fellow passenger about his lucrative job. Intrigued by the prospect of easy money, the passenger decides to impersonate the sorcerer. Arriving in Paris, the imposter must convincingly fake magical abilities while desperately trying to resolve the squatters' eviction.
