Scenes from the Life of Hermann Nitsch (2005)

This is an intimate look at Hermann Nitsch, assembled from footage captured during our years of friendship. The film features early performances in New York, scenes of Nitsch shortly after taking possession of the Prinzendorf monastery – now his primary workspace – and glimpses of him with his circle of friends from Vienna, New York, and Naples, including Peter Kubelka, Raimund Abraham, Gunther Brus, George Maciunas, and Giuseppe Morra.
