Description:
The film weaves together six stories across Central America – from the Guatemalan rainforest to Panama City – as a solar storm plunges the region into five days of darkness and disconnection. Without power, everyday lives are disrupted. In Costa Rica, a pastor and his daughter face uncertainty for their church. In El Salvador, a grandmother and grandson undertake a difficult journey to the city. A couple in Honduras rediscover their connection, while in Guatemala, a young couple cares for a mysterious stranger. Meanwhile, in Nicaragua, a young woman prepares for her quinceañera, and in Panama, a housekeeper struggles with her demanding employer.
