Description:
Ayşe returns to her hometown in northeastern Turkey to care for her dying mother. Before passing, her mother entrusts Ayşe with her cherished bee hives. Ayşe, who has built a modern life away from the mountains of her youth where bees were central, pauses her city life to manage them, finding solace from her grief in the work. She begins working with a local beekeeper but discovers that the skills of her childhood are buried deep and the hives prove harder to manage than she recalls. Neglecting local advice, Ayşe risks damaging, possibly losing, her mother's hives. Adding to the danger, a Caucasian bear emerges as a serious threat to both the hives and Ayşe herself.
