Une manière de vivre (2019)

Colette's world is upended when her husband dies in a suspicious car accident. This event unexpectedly draws her closer to her daughter Gabrielle, a young woman struggling with bulimia who works as a high-end escort. Gabrielle becomes intensely interested in Joseph, a philosophy teacher from Belgium who is visiting Montreal. She relentlessly questions him about life's meaning, unsettling the scholar and prompting him to consider returning home to his partner. However, he finds himself increasingly captivated by Gabrielle and the effect she has on him.
