Life is a constant struggle. It's hard for a young woman to handle all the problems alone. She needs someone to rely on, but who? There are plenty of admirers, and marriage offers choices. However, she won't settle for anything less than a man who is intelligent, handsome, and wealthy. Despite the many potential husbands who visit Yalta in the summer, they all seem to have flaws.
