Daffy Duck: Frustrated Fowl (2010)

Daffy Duck: Frustrated Fowl is a collection of previously unreleased cartoons alongside Bugs Bunny: Hare Extraordinaire. Chuck Jones's "Daffy Dilly" (1948) is a highlight, featuring Daffy's comical attempts to win money by making a wealthy man laugh – and succeeding unintentionally. However, many of the shorts are weak, including parodies of old TV shows like "This Is a Life?" (1955), "People Are Bunny" (1959), and "Person to Bunny" (1960). These may not resonate with modern audiences unfamiliar with the referenced personalities. Some cartoons pitting Daffy against Bugs feel like inferior versions of earlier Warner Bros. shorts. The late "Suppressed Duck" (1965) is particularly unfunny. Several films have been cropped, giving them a widescreen appearance.
