Description:
1) On the first day of winter, Mr. Thicknose tells the group about Hard Water Sweets (frozen grapes), prompting them to embark on a quest to find them. 2) When Spike falls into a hole, he meets a community of mammals (Ceratogaulus) who believe he is a wise being from the sky. His friends attempt a rescue, but their efforts are complicated by a disagreement between Mr. Thicknose and Topsy. 3) One morning, a large group of "Sand Creepers" (crabs) appears in the Great Valley. Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie, Chomper, and Ruby set out on an adventure to discover why they have arrived. 4) After Tippy's herd returns, a conflict arises between the adults, preventing the young ones from playing together. They then secretly seek out green food.
