City Paradise (2000)

Dasheng is one of millions of rural Chinese people who have moved to the city. He's built a good life for himself: a job cleaning windows, a girlfriend he loves (Yu Qin), and supportive foster parents. He keeps a secret from them, never mentioning that he's married with a wife (Zi Yun) and mother who are waiting for his return home. Dasheng is determined to stay in the city, unwilling to go back to rural life. But the comfortable urban life he enjoys is unexpectedly threatened. Suddenly, Dasheng finds himself without anything.
