Description:

In post-war London, a young graduate and his girlfriend plan to marry. Her wealthy parents are hesitant, but agree if he can secure a job paying £5.10.0 and a single room flat for 30 shillings a week. Newly married, the couple struggles with limited finances, a cramped living space, difficult neighbors, and the constant presence of her parents. Can their faith overcome these challenges? And is there a better way to dispose of tea leaves than pouring them down the sink?
