Finale (2007)

Albert's life changes forever when his close friendship ends abruptly as his best friend goes to university. Back in their hometown, Albert feels isolated, with only his music and distant father for company. He's forced to confront feelings he's never acknowledged before. When he finally joins his friend at university, the isolation deepens. Desperate to win back his friend's acceptance, Albert undertakes the challenging task of learning Rachmaninoff's Cello Sonata. As he immerses himself in the music, memories resurface, revealing the truth about his yearning for reconciliation, while his friend pulls away. The film culminates in a boy's struggle to accept adulthood and confront the person he's becoming.
