Description:
Kresten Flint, a solitary man, lives with his daughter Else on their farm, Flintegården. Else is gentle but unusual. When young farmer Jesper Poulsen arrives to ask for Else's hand in marriage, he hopes to care for her and revive the farm after a heartbreak. Else gives birth to twins, Viggo and Martin, but dies during childbirth, leaving Jesper to raise them alone. Viggo and Martin grow into close, handsome men – inseparable friends – until they both fall in love with the same woman.
