Charlie Soukup, a Czech songwriter and human rights activist who emigrated in the 1980s, has lived as a solitary hermit and Buddhist in the Australian outback for decades. Documentary filmmaker Jiří Holba finds Soukup on his remote property, where he secretly builds shelters and avoids society. Holba filmed the documentary entirely alone, capturing spontaneous conversations and moments that reveal Soukup's unique personality. The film features extended monologues, a blend of rambling thoughts and profound reflections on life.
