Description:
For forty years, Charles Manson has lived almost entirely within the confines of reform schools, jails, and prisons – a life he considers his only home. His ideas developed in solitary confinement, isolated from time and society, leading him to believe only the mind matters. From persuading followers to relocate to the desert for apocalyptic training to orchestrating a series of brutal murders, the film reveals Manson's account of how he forged a terrifying worldview based on his philosophy. He argues that the normal world outside prison is merely a distorted reflection of the criminal underworld he inhabits, and that true reality begins with those living outside the law.
